Winter Workshop - January 23, 2026
MUSIC MOMENT
As we look towards Fall, some enjoy thinking of the "spooky season" that is ahead. The days get shorter, and light in the waning dark becomes more essential. Leaning into the mysteries of moving shadows in the flickering light can be a thrill.
There is no shortage of music that fits this season, and so it's difficult to highlight just one! Danse Macabre stands out as a lively and energetic piece, at times almost making you feel like you're being whirled around by the music.

25 years ago I fell into teaching piano accidentally - I needed extra income and had a skill. I had not been a good piano student (God bless the 3 teachers I had from ages 7-18). However, I began teaching and quickly fell in love with it! Getting to be an educator in the arts has become one of the greatest joys of my life.
